A Letter from Jenice…

Hi there, and thank you so much for being here💜

I’m Jenice Caldwell, a board-certified nurse practitioner, and the founder of The Wellspring Health Ministry. If I’m being honest, this ministry was birthed from a place of deep pain, deep surrender, and ultimately, divine purpose.

For most of my career, I worked as a traveling nurse. I never had a steady homebase, and at times, that felt unstable. But now I see clearly: God was preparing me. Moving from place to place gave me the chance to meet people from all walks of life, build relationships across communities, and witness firsthand how broken our healthcare system can be, especially for the elderly, the underserved, and the forgotten.

There were times I felt overlooked, discouraged, and even disqualified. I questioned my worth, my calling, and whether I had what it took to really make a difference. But in the quiet moments, God kept whispering, “You were made for more.” And in my darkest hour, when I didn’t know if I could keep going, I said yes to Him.

That yes became The Wellspring Health Ministry, a faith-rooted, community-based organization committed to releasing living water into dry places. We offer mobile healthcare, emotional support, and spiritual care to those who need it most. We believe healing isn’t just physical, it’s holistic.

This isn’t just my profession. It’s my purpose. And it’s my joy to pour into the very people I once felt helpless to reach.
